Cait was rescued from the street and brought to the shelter with her daughter Katie when she was about 2 years old.
The 2 dogs used to hang around a restaurant but when it closed they began to starve to death.
Cait is healthy, gentle and very sweet, but shy - you will need to give her time to get to know you before you take her home.
Cait's new parent(s) will need to be patient with her and be willing to spend some time gaining her trust - having competed for food on the street with other hungry dogs, she can be possessive of her food at mealtime, so she will need some training.
Cait fue rescatada de la calle y traida al sanctuario con su hija, Katie (tambien todavia en el sanctuario) cuando tenia approx. 2 años.
Antes de venir al sanctuario, estas 2 perritas andaban por un restaurant, y cuando lo cerraron permanentamente, empezaron a morirse de hambre.
Cait es sana y dulce, pero un poco tímida - tendras que pasar tiempo con ella en el sanctuario antes de llevarla a tu hogar.
La nueva familia de Cait tendrá que ser paciente con ella mientras que ella aprenda confiar - como tenia que competir para comida cuando vivia en la calle, Cait puede ser un poco posesiva de su comida.
